Background:

Founded in 1961, the school is situated on one of the highest points in the parish, overlooking hundreds of acres of mid-Warwickshire countryside. Its buildings are on one level. The main building houses Years 1 to 6, the school library, multi-purpose main hall, kitchen, prayer room and computer suite with 15 computers. The Reception class is housed in a separate block, together with a nursery which is is one of the Pathways chain and is independent of the school, although it works closely with the Reception class teacher to ensure continuity in the Early Years curriculum. There are three playgrounds and extensive grounds with a football pitch in winter and an athletics track in summer. The school community has close ties with its parish church, Our Lady's in Lillington. Children are 'encouraged to be a part of the family of the church' and are regularly involved in a monthly Young People's Mass. The parish priest also regularly visits the school to take class Masses. The school's catchment are aincludes Lillington, Cubbington, and Weston-under-Wetherley.
