Background:
Kilsby School founded in 1872. The buildings are about 30 years old and are on a site in the middle of the village. The school has a playground, a playing field, wild areas and ponds as well as an environmental maze. The school plays soccer in the local schools league. It also plays netball against other schools. Pupils' are also encouraged to raise funds for local and national charities. The school has links with two foreign schools through the Ellis Comenius Project and pupils' write to children in Greece and Iceland.
