Background:

St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Studley, was founded over a century ago. It moved to its present site in 1975. Extra curricular activities include singing, chess, country dancing, guitar, choir, computers, drama, art, origami, instrumental groups and various sports. In order to further strengthen community links, pupils are encouraged to raise money for charity. In recent years, beneficiaries of their efforts have included the Air Ambulance, the RSPCA, Children in Need, Boxes for Kosovo and Macmillan Nurses. The school'supports the education of an Indonesian boy, and children made Christmas boxes for the Samaritans Purse.
