Background:
Woodloes Junior School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is seven to 11. The school was opened in September 1976 as a purpose-built school. It houses eight class bases, four practical areas, a music room, library, computer suite, hall and changing facilities. The school has substantial games areas based on a large flat playing field, of some 8 acres and tar-macadam playground facilities. The school provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities: football, netball, cricket, basketball, volleyball and rugby. The school aims to enable every child to develop and achieve their full potential in a happy and caring learning environment.
