Background:

Racemeadow Primary School was formed in September 1994 by the amalgamation of Racemeadow County First School and Atherstone North Middle Schools following the re-organisation of schools in North Warwickshire. The school has 14 class bases, two halls, a music room, a computer suite, a craft area and two libraries. The school has its own field and three separate playgrounds. It aims to create a happy, caring and stimulating environment in which children will become increasing confident and independent learners. The school has excellent facilities within modern buildings, and are able to offer its child a wide range of opportunities and experiences. The following activities may take place during lunchtimes or after school. This includes school band, school concerts, art club, netball, rounders, choirs, cross-country, rounder, soccer and aerobics. The school aims to create a happy, caring and stimulating environment in which children will become increasing confident and independent learners.
