Background:
Campion is a community comprehensive school that caters for boys and girls of 11-18 years of age. Since Easter 2003, there have been major strides forward made by the school in terms of ICT. The school has increased the number of computers available for use in many areas of the school, with now well over 200 machines networked. Recently the school has installed video conferencing equipment. The school provides a balanced curriculum to meet the needs of all students. It also offers various trips and visits that pupils can take part in. These include residential visits and visits to museums, art gallery and other places of interest. The school aims to provide a happy community, where young people feel secure enough to be stretched and challenged, and where they are empowered to 'be the best they can be'.
