Background:
Bishop Wulstan School is a voluntary aided Roman Catholic comprehensive school in the Archdiocese of Birmingham, serving the community of Rugby and surrounding district. The school is housed in a lovely old Pugin designed building, dating back to the 1850s onto which additional facilities have been added. There is a separate technology block which houses design and technology, art, learning support and its ICT suite. There are a variety of extra-curricular activities running for boys and girls in the autumn and spring terms including football, netball and cross-country running. The music department also organise opportunities for instrumental groups and a choir. The school aims to provide a balanced curriculum with a Christian basis through which students can grow in understanding and acquire the skills, attitudes and values for responsible adult life.
